AMPI is a national association of real estate professionals that was founded in 1956. Since that time members of this association have operated under laws, as well as codes of ethics and conduct, in order to create a reliable, trustworthy and efficient real estate environment in Mexico.
AMPI’s vision is to become the most prominent real estate organization in the Republic of Mexico. In order to make this vision a reality, it is creating and promoting a new real estate culture—one that is based on improving the professional standards of realtors through training and certification of each of its members. In addition, it will promote AMPI in order to gain recognition both nationally and internationally.
On September 20th, 2007 the National President of AMPI, Lic. Mario Aviles Barroso attended the AMPI event in Playa del Carmen. The formal dinner event was held to swear in key people in the association such as Laura Zapata, President AMPI Riviera Maya. Zapata’s positive leadership and strong efforts were recognized during the event.
Riviera Maya’s exciting future was showcased throughout the evening. Many outstanding real estate developments were featured in a slide show presentation before the dinner. The influx of North American baby boomers was discussed because these are the people who are investing the large majority of money into Mexico’s thriving real estate market.
Representatives from leading real estate companies attended the event. Tom Budniak, owner/broker of the company along with Josh Twigg, international sales director for the company represented Realty Executives Mexico. Seen below from left to right, Tom Budniak, Lic Mario Aviles Barroso, Josh Twigg, Pamela Twigg. Realty Executives Mexico, the strongest real estate brokerage in the area, specializes in North American investors and works closely with AMPI. Realty Executives Mexico will be featuring AMPI in their upcoming Buying Real Estate in Mexico presentations which will be held throughout North America.
The evening was an overall success. AMPI is an outstanding association that is sure to lead the real estate industry in Mexico to even greater prominence in the world market.
